Warranty Terms

Sanofi-Aventis Australia Pty Ltd offers customers who acquire a new BGSTAR and iBGSTAR Blood Glucose Meter within Australia and New Zealand the following warranty terms. The warranty extends only to the original acquirer and is not transferable, so it is important to register your details with Sanofi. In the event the meter does not work properly, as long as it has not been altered, tampered with or abused, Sanofi may replace the meter with a new or equivalent meter. The faulty meter must be returned, postage paid, to the Sanofi offices as directed. Sanofi will not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting directly or indirectly from the failure of the meter to perform in accordance with the specifications. Sanofi may discontinue this program at any time without notice.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
